Joseph Weinstein, Of Counsel
Mr. Weinstein is a practicing attorney and CPA with over 12 years of experience. Mr. Weinstein represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service and is admitted to the United States Tax Court. Mr. Weinstein is also an adjunct professor in the accounting graduate program of Baruch College, City University of New York. He delivers his hands on, empowering style from the classroom to the boardroom.
Mr. Weinstein received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting at Queens College – City University of New York, his Juris Doctor Degree from Brooklyn Law School, and his L.L.M. Degree (Masters of Law) from New York Law School. He currently serves as an adjunct professor in the accounting program of Baruch College – City University of New York.
Mr. Weinstein has over a decade of experience as a CPA and practicing attorney. Mr. Weinstein assists individuals and business people in developing agreements and business succession plans with tax effective results. Through his practice, Mr. Weinstein is involved in all stages of business development, and he routinely cultivates creative solutions for difficult and complex corporate finance and taxation cases. For businesses, Mr. Weinstein has advised numerous start-up companies, and provides guidance to both real estate and personal service companies on developing successful business structures. As a CPA, Mr. Weinstein is sensitive to the tax consequences surrounding many business transactions and has creative solutions for some of the most difficult cases. Mr. Weinstein also represents clients before the IRS and is admitted to the United States Tax Court. He has extensive experience representing various types of fiduciaries including executors, administrators, trustees and guardians.
Mr. Weinstein is a licensed member of the New York State and New Jersey State Bar and is licensed to practice law in all courts in the states of New York and New Jersey and before the United States Tax Court.
